A Software Development Intern at Sandhills Global will gain hands-on experience with modern tools and technologies used to develop industry-leading software. The role involves maintaining, upgrading, and creating new software solutions for various business needs, including front-end web development, back-end business logic changes, and database work.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, upgrade, and create new software for business needs
• Work on web-based data-driven applications using .NET, SQL Server, Web APIs, and frameworks like JavaScript, jQuery, and React.js
• Collaborate in an agile team setting to develop real-world software solutions
• Utilize Microsoft technologies such as C#, VB, Docker, Jenkins, Python, and other languages as needed

Requirements

• Ability to commute to the local office when scheduled
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively within a team environment
• Results-oriented and flexible to adapt to change
• Stable and progressive work history
• Professional appearance and demeanor

Qualifications

Previous experience with Docker, Jenkins, Python can be helpful.

Skills

• C# programming language
• Experience with Microsoft technologies
• Knowledge of web development frameworks (JavaScript, jQuery, React.js)
• Understanding of SQL Server and relational databases
• Basic understanding of Agile methodologies
