Software Development Engineer, Lead Management and Account-Based Marketing Tech
About the Role
The AWS Marketing Lead Management team is looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer to build a high quality, creative, technology platform that powers ingesting and passing along the highest quality leads to the AWS Sales teams. As part of a fast growing tech organization, you will develop various modules responsible for ingesting leads, enriching them with attributes gathered from 3rd party and 1st party data, scoring the leads, and handing the highest quality leads to appropriate sales teams.
You will drive and own core innovations for customers worldwide, closely interact with senior managers and stakeholders on a global scale, and autonomously drive the full software development lifecycle for your team. This role offers the opportunity to make a huge, measurable impact on the AWS buying and lead management process while building and innovating solutions that are simple, easy to maintain, and scalable.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Implementation of a scalable E2E technical design across all systems in the solution - AWS tools, API, Redshift
- Deliver validated conceptual architecture
- Write and prioritize architectural enablement work items
- Evaluate technical feasibility of features
- Define migration plan from current to future state
- Define environment setup and continuous integration/continuous delivery standards
- Collaborate and provide guidance with product management, UX designers, and engineering on feature technical feasibility
- Capture technical requirements ensuring the solution is secure, scalable, efficient, and responsive
- Design an overarching solution and solicit buy-in from technical audiences
- Deliver high quality code and peer reviews
- Champion standards and best practices
- Identify technical risks and issues and mitigation strategies to resolve system bugs
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Master's degree in computer science or equivalent
- 2+ years of building complex software systems experience
- Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
- Experience in machine learning, data mining, information retrieval, statistics or natural language processing

Pay
USA, WA, Seattle: 143,700.00 - 194,400.00 USD annually. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
