Software Development Engineer, AWS Compliance & Security Assurance
About the role
The AWS Compliance & Security Assurance team is responsible for scaling AWS's ability to exceed the security and compliance expectations of our regulators, auditors, and customers globally. We own driving highly complex security and compliance campaigns across AWS. We design and build services that stand up to the scrutiny of external regulators and inspection by AWS's most security-sensitive customers.
Responsibilities
- Build and own internal services that identify and monitor security/compliance-relevant attributes of key infrastructure
- Scale security and compliance assessments of AWS services
- Expand our ability to continuously monitor key security functions
- Contribute to solving complex engineering problems as well as business problems
- Interact with business partners to learn and flex skills in business intelligence and data handling/processing
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $143,700.00 - $194,400.00 annually.
