Provide technical support to all of the customers' broadcast systems as a cloud engineer with programming responsibilities.

This position is eligible for a $5k bonus! (Includes 20% SEP IRA contribution)

Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and a position-appropriate security clearance (e.g., Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency-appropriate polygraph) are required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for broadcast systems in a cloud engineering role with programming responsibilities.

Skills

Required Technical Skills

  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of cloud-based networks with very high data security requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience with AWS and cloud services, including API configurations.
  • Demonstrated experience with programming languages including Python, Linux, C++, and Windows shell.
  • Demonstrated experience with operating systems such as Linux and Android.
  • Demonstrated experience with scripting languages such as Python, C++, and Perl.
  • Demonstrated experience with System Administration such as Linux RHEL, patching, server installs, firmware upgrades, and testing between firmware/patch levels.
  • Demonstrated experience with Cloud Engineering such as familiarity with medialive, automating DynamoDB table updates, troubleshooting within the cloud platform, and providing input on troubleshooting toolsets.

Desired Technical Skills

  • Demonstrated experience with analog and digital communications with Satellite, terrestrial TV, AM, and FM radio.
  • Demonstrated experience with video codecs and streaming technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience with video encoding equipment and processes.
  • Demonstrated experience with specific broadcast systems such as specialized FM radio systems and the Sponsor’s TV and radio signal devices, including scalable portable remote devices.
  • Demonstrated experience with IP network routing and switching.
  • Demonstrated experience performing installations, configuration, and operations of broadcast equipment.
