About the role

A DevOps focused Software engineer is needed to support the enterprise language services team. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of Kubernetes, containerization and cloud-native technologies.

Responsibilities

• Implement the project's Kubernetes-based infrastructure and applications
• Deploy, scale and manage Kubernetes-based applications
• Create and manage Helm charts for simplified application deployment
• Provision and manage infrastructure using Terraform
• Use AWS services and architecture for project needs
• Automate tasks and processes using Bash scripting
• Monitor, log and alert using systems like Prometheus/Grafana
• Work with ArgoCD for automated deployment pipelines
• Manage scalable Kubernetes workloads using KEDA
• Administer PostgreSQL databases
• Develop in Node.js and TypeScript
• Develop using the Angular framework

Requirements

• Mandatory Skills:
  • Experience with Kubernetes container orchestration
  • Knowledge of Helm charts for simplifying application deployment
  • Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services and architecture
  • Strong scripting skills using Bash
• Optional Skills:
  • Experience with ArgoCD
  • Monitoring, logging, and alerting systems like Prometheus/Grafana
  • Elasticsearch expertise
  • Node.js and TypeScript development experience
  • Angular framework knowledge
