About The Role

Mckesson Corporation is seeking a talented Software Developer to join our Supply Chain Technology team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in microservices architecture, system integrations, CP4D, Apache Kafka, and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 4+ years of relevant software development experience
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or Go
• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with cloud platforms including GCP, Azure, or AWS
• Strong knowledge of ETL development, Oracle performance tuning, and complex SQL/PL-SQL
• Deep understanding of Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming and event-driven architecture
• Experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain microservices-based applications utilizing modern frameworks and cloud-native technologies
• Design and implement real-time data streaming solutions using Apache Kafka
• Build and optimize integrations between internal systems and third-party platforms through APIs, messaging queues, and middleware
• Collaborate with AI/ML teams to embed intelligent features such as predictive analytics, natural language processing, and automation into applications
• Develop and maintain ETL pipelines using CP4D to support data processing needs
• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL and PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers in Oracle databases
• Ensure the high performance, scalability, and reliability of distributed systems
• Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD)
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in production systems to ensure uptime and responsiveness
