About the Role
McKesson Corporation is seeking a talented Software Developer to join our Supply Chain Technology team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in microservices architecture, system integrations, CP4D, Apache Kafka, and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 4+ years of relevant software development experience
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or Go
- Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as GCP, Azure, or AWS
- Strong knowledge of ETL development, Oracle performance tuning, and complex SQL queries
- Deep understanding of Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming and event-driven architectures
- Experience implementing AI/ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain microservices-based applications utilizing modern frameworks and cloud-native technologies
- Implement real-time data streaming solutions using Apache Kafka to support enterprise data pipelines
- Build and maintain robust integrations between internal systems and third-party platforms via APIs, messaging queues, and middleware
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to embed intelligent features such as predictive analytics, natural language processing, and automation into applications
- Develop and maintain ETL pipelines using CP4D to facilitate data processing and analytics
- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL and PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers in Oracle databases
- Ensure the performance, scalability, and reliability of distributed systems through best practices and continuous monitoring
- Participate in Agile development processes including sprint planning, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor production systems, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system uptime and responsiveness
