About the role

We are seeking an experienced front-end developer to work on a cloud-based application available to companies worldwide. This platform revolutionizes how manufacturing companies apply core competencies and integrate teams across industrial segments. The application operates in all major browsers, supports multiple languages, and allows extensive customization to meet individual user needs.

As a key member of our agile team, you will focus on creating exceptional UI/UX experiences while seamlessly connecting with back-end code. You will take ownership of various aspects of software development, including customer support, launching new features, refactoring existing code, and addressing scalability challenges. Responsibilities include implementing new forms, adding features, and prioritizing customer feedback.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance front-end features for a global cloud application
  • Implement new forms and add functionalities based on user needs
  • Refactor existing code to improve performance and maintainability
  • Prioritize and respond to customer feedback and feature requests
  • Collaborate with the team on horizontal scalability and new development launches
  • Work independently to identify areas for improvement and exercise sound judgment
  • Maintain a strong focus on deadlines and deliver high-quality solutions
  • Ensure superior communication and documentation throughout the development process

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of ongoing coding experience in a framework similar to those listed below
  • Strong expertise in UI/UX design and front-end development
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
  • Passion for high-tech solutions, attention to detail, and creative problem-solving

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in the following technologies:
    • Web Technologies: HTML5, XML, Razor, Bootstrap, CSS
    • Scripting Languages: JavaScript, Ajax, jQuery
    • Development Tools: Visual Studio, .NET, and others
    • UI/PL Tools: jQuery, React JS, Redux
    • Programming Languages: ASP.NET, VB.Net, C#, PL/SQL
    • RDBMS: MS SQL Server, Azure Cosmos DB
  • Degree in Computer Information Systems or a related field is a plus

Location

This role is based at our company address in Broadview, IL. Hybrid work arrangements may be discussed.
