Software Developer – Back-End
About the role
We are seeking an experienced back-end developer who is excited to work on an app available to companies around the world. This platform revolutionizes the way manufacturing companies apply core competencies and integrate teams, regardless of the industrial segment. The cloud application is designed to operate in all major browsers, supports multiple languages, and allows users to customize many sections to their individual needs.
You will be part of an agile team, contributing to customer support, launching new developments, and refactoring existing code. Discussions about horizontal scalability, independent work, and meeting deadlines are key aspects of this role. Superior communication and documentation skills are equally important.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain back-end components of a global cloud-based application
- Refactor existing code and launch new features
- Collaborate on discussions about horizontal scalability
- Identify areas for improvement and exercise discretion in decision-making
- Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining high code quality
- Provide customer support and documentation
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of ongoing coding experience in a framework similar to the technologies listed below
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
- Degree in Computer Information Systems or a related field is a plus
