Summary
The Ash Group is hiring a ServiceNow Software Developer for a major electricity and natural gas utility provider. This is a 4-month contract working remotely (must reside in the US) but Minneapolis, MN is preferred. The pay rate is up to $61 per hour W2 based on skill set. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and direct primary care benefits. After six months, a 4% matched 401(k) plan with immediate 100% vesting is offered.
Role Details
Duration: 4-month contract
Location: Remote (must reside in the US) but Minneapolis, MN is preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and develop software solutions, including ServiceNow applications.
- Build and maintain workflows, catalog items, and integrations.
- Develop and enhance applications following platform best practices.
- Collaborate with architects and governance teams to ensure standards compliance.
- Perform unit, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and defects.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Support deployment activities and transition solutions to operational teams.
- Ensure adherence to security, governance, and development standards.
- Analyze system specifications, design, and modify complex custom software.
- Aid in preparing technical design specifications and provide feedback on functional requirements.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on software development experience.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform components (Service Catalog, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes, REST/SOAP Integrations).
- Experience developing scoped applications and platform workflows.
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- Experience with ITSM, ITOM, Service Catalog, CMDB, and IntegrationHub.
- Experience supporting large enterprise ServiceNow implementations.
- Familiarity with governance, security, and compliance requirements.
- Experience with DEX/NexThink.
