Responsibilities
- Conducting innovative software development solutions for various Navy identification systems
- Executing scientific, engineering, and technical services required for the design, development, integration, and testing of combat systems
- Analyzing technology and capability gaps to research, develop, and deploy software solutions
- Collaborating with other developers and project leads to design, optimize, and define associated deliverables
- Conducting integration, testing, bug fixes, and other software maintenance activities
- Aiding in the creation of technical documentation and user guides in support of developed software
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in software development
- Applied experience with C/C++ and Java
- Experience working in an agile development environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Applied experience programming in a Linux environment
- Experience using Wireshark and Eclipse IDE for development
- Experience using SVN for source code configuration management
