Software Dev Engineer

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Participate in daily team standups and contribute to sprint planning sessions held on a bi-weekly cadence
• Design, develop, and maintain front-end and back-end application features that power job rotation and safety solutions for warehouse associates globally
• Collaborate with senior engineers to define tasks, solve complex technical challenges, and deliver high-quality software
• Contribute to operational work including monitoring, troubleshooting, and improving system reliability at massive scale
• Build and maintain scalable systems capable of processing billions of events
• Partner cross-functionally with global stakeholders to ensure technology solutions meet safety and operational goals

Skills

• Proficiency in Java for back-end application development
• Proficiency in React for front-end application development
• Strong ability to design and architect systems using industry-leading software design principles
• Solid foundation in software development and computer science principles applied to real-world application development

Bonus

• Experience with AI-driven development or integrating machine learning capabilities into applications
• Demonstrated mentorship or informal leadership experience with junior engineers
• Prior experience working at Amazon

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software or application development
• Experience limited solely to quality assurance without hands-on application development will not be considered

Pay Range

Tundra in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $51/hour - $57/hour.
