Software Dev Engineer

Key job responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of software development from requirements through implementation and test.
• Engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary staff to conceive and design solutions.
• Be responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within an open, collaborative peer environment.
• Work with cross-functional partner teams and lead efforts with engineers from requirements to deployment.

Experience

• 5+ years of noninternship professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.

Required Skills

• Years of Experience: 3 to 5 years.
• Degree or Certification: Bachelor in engineering.
• Leadership Principle: Customer Obsession, logical coding.
• Skills: Python, C++. design patterns, reliability and scaling.

About the role

Making contributions to the development of manufacturing systems engineering under kuiper prodops, which involves delivering software and test frameworks to enhance the speed and quality of satellite component testing. This includes partnering with engineering and production teams to ensure reliability, repeatability, and efficiency in test systems, and improving overall throughput and the transition process.
