Software Automated Test Engineer, Sr - GMD Weapons Systems (GWS)

About the role

The selected Principal Test Engineer will support the GWS-IDT IPT, scheduling tests for execution, monitoring, measuring, controlling, and reporting on test progress, product quality status, and test results. Adaptation of the test plan and compensation for evolving conditions will also be required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule tests for execution and monitor, measure, control, and report on test progress, product quality status, and test results.
• Adapt the test plan and compensate as needed to adjust for evolving conditions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline preferred from an accredited university and 5 years of related experience, or a Master's Degree and 3 years of related experience, or 1 year of experience with a PhD.
• Experience developing testing criteria to satisfy requirements.
• Experience in C++ development.
• Experience using Python and other scripting languages.
• Experience using Eggplant or other GUI based toolset.
• Experience with Gitlab or Bitbucket.

Qualifications

• Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% to support business needs.

Skills

• Security+ certification.
• GMD/MDA experience.
• Java experience/understanding.
• Active, in-scope U.S. Government DoD Top Secret clearance.
