Software Application Developer

About the role

Leidos is in need of a software applications developer to support a dynamic and exciting software development program. This position will be part of a team of applications developers supporting multiple projects, which include high profile high visibility projects offering technical learning opportunities. These projects are all within the cloud and support multiple mission partners. The ideal candidate will have AWS experience developing for the cloud to include complete secure cloud integrations, optimizing cloud connectivity, and managed cloud services. This position is located in Northern Virginia and does not require travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop web applications using JAVA, JavaScript, NodeJS, and/or Angular
• Work with the overall program team in the design and development of new applications as well as integrating new solutions on existing applications
• Analyze and solve complex application development needs to identify solutions to include potential new tools/technologies
• Troubleshoot and perform software upgrades for web applications
• Work in a DevOps environment developing within an Agile environment using code delivery mechanisms, such as Maven, Ant, continuous build systems such as Jenkins, Nitro, Git, and code repositories such as Subversion

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience, or Master's with minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience
• Experience with Java and/or JavaScript
• Experience with Node or Angular
• Experience with Python
• Experience with Cloud Development Kit (CDK)
• Experience with Serverless Application Development

• Salesforce Development
• ServiceNow Development/Administration
• Docker Container experience
• Experience developing in PHP or the willingness to learn PHP
• Experience developing HTML views with CSS

Pay

Pay Range $131,300.00 - $237,350.00
