Software Applications Developer

About the role

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Software Developer to join our team! In this role you will get to design, develop, and deliver cutting-edge technical solutions in the national cyber security domain.

What You'll Be Doing

• Develop technical software designs in accordance with the requirements
• Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain software applications
• Perform coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting
• Transform business and functional requirements into technical solutions
• Resolve complex technical problems, meet deadlines, and thrive in a team setting
• Conduct root cause analysis, review code and perform unit testing
• Clearly and regularly communicate with customers and team
• Research and implement new development techniques and technologies
• Write and review software documentation

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline. (A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.)
• A minimum of 2+ years of experience in HTML, CSS, and Javascript

Desired Skills

• Experience with React, JS, C++
• Experience creating custom web-based visualizations
• Experience working with Git for version control
• Experience working with NodeJS environment
• Be able to write Web Service calls to external systems

Salary Range: $88,400.00 - $154,700.00
