Social Worker Master of Social Work

Full-time position, 80 hours per pay period (40 hours per week). Scheduled day shift: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., no on-call duty, no weekends.

About the role

Generates and accepts Social Work referrals, applies the casework process, performs department duties, documents activities, and delivers social-work functions including counseling, referral/resource acquisition, and case consultation and coordination.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited higher-education institution.
• Michigan licensure as a Master’s Level Social Worker (LMSW) with a Clinical Specialty endorsement. Note: a Limited License Master’s Level Social Worker (LLMSW) is eligible; the LLMSW must pass the Association of Social Work Boards Clinical Examination within six months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Enrollment in the Academy for Certified Social Workers.
• One year of related experience.
