Position Overview This role is part of a social services unit focused on crisis intervention and community safety. It involves providing mental health, substance use, and behavioral health services through field response, assessment, evaluation, stabilization, case management, follow-up, and referrals in collaboration with law enforcement. The role emphasizes connecting individuals to appropriate resources, ensuring safe interactions, and maintaining professional standards in a community-based setting. Qualifications & Skills Licensed Social Worker (LSW) with proof of auto insurance and a valid driver’s licenseBachelor’s Degree in Social Work requiredPreferably 3+ years of related experienceExcellent communication, de-escalation, and crisis intervention skillsAbility to work with diverse age groups and handle confidential informationProficient in documentation, able to drive in various conditions, and respond effectively to crisesKnowledge of mental health laws, compliance standards, and community resources Key Responsibilities Utilize motivational interviewing and crisis intervention to ensure safety and appropriate actionExercise clinical judgment to resolve crises with least restrictive measuresCollaborate effectively with law enforcement, emergency personnel, and community resourcesProvide case management, counseling, and social work interventions to individuals and familiesMaintain professional boundaries and cultural sensitivity while respecting client valuesParticipate in clinical supervision and adhere to safety and compliance guidelines
