Job Responsibilities
- Utilize social work skills by conducting pediatric psychosocial assessments.
- Provides supportive and educational counseling through visits and tele-medicine.
- Consults with physicians on patients’ psychosocial assessment.
- Analyzes learning needs and plans educational activities.
- Collaborates with the physician and all members of the multidisciplinary team to facilitate care and assist in meeting goals.
Specifications
- Experience: Minimum Required: 3 years’ experience in working in a hospital as a social worker or 5 years’ experience as a clinical social worker.
- Education: Minimum Required: Bachelors in Social Work. Preferred/Desired: Masters in Social Work.
- Training: Minimum Required. Preferred/Desired: None specified.
- Special Skills: Preferred/Desired: Licensure as LSW.
