Social Worker (LMSW/LMHC)

About the role

Join our team as a Social Worker in Richmond Hill, Queens, NY, providing comprehensive support and counseling services. This full‑time position requires flexibility to work either Sun‑Thurs or Tues‑Sat with varying hours between 08:00 am and 09:00 pm.

Responsibilities

• Conduct bio‑psychosocial assessments and mental health evaluations.
• Provide individual, couples, group, and family counseling.
• Screen for mental health and substance use issues across various age groups.
• Offer crisis intervention and stabilize situations as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely client records in compliance with regulations.
• Serve as a liaison to community agencies and organizations.
• Design and facilitate therapeutic groups based on client needs.

Qualifications

• NYS licensed social worker (LMSW or LMHC required).
• Experience in conducting psychosocial assessments.
• Knowledge of HIPAA privacy and security regulations.
• Ability to make appropriate referrals for clients.
• Experience in providing crisis intervention.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
• Proven ability to work effectively with diverse populations.

Pay

$70,000‑$75,000 per year.

Schedule

Full‑time; varied schedule between 08:00 am‑09:00 pm on either Sun‑Thurs or Tues‑Sat.
