Social Worker, Inpatient

Responsibilities

HOURS: Monday - Friday, 8a-430p, No Weekends Required!

• Carry a patient caseload, working with adolescent and young adult patients aged 5 to 35.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions.
• Develop and revise treatment and complex hospital discharge plans.
• Communicate with patients, caretakers, the treatment team, and direct care staff.
• Provide psychoeducation to patients, caretakers, the treatment team, and direct care staff.
• Lead child, adolescent, and young adult therapy/process groups on the inpatient units.
• Complete Think: Kids: Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS) training and use the CPS Assessment and Planning tool.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work.
• Licensure in the State of Minnesota, LGSW required, LICSW preferred.
• Two years' experience in a mental health care setting preferred.
• Experience working with children, adolescents, and their families strongly preferred.
• Experience using electronic health records preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Outlook, and Teams.
• Ability to communicate in written and verbal form effectively and efficiently.
• Ability to coordinate care with relevant staff.
• Ability to shift between dissimilar tasks smoothly and rapidly.
• Ability to make effective decisions while in stressful situations and circumstances.

Pay

Compensation for this role ranges from $32-$38.60 per hour depending on licensure and experience. We are committed to providing competitive and equitable compensation. An individual's pay rate within the posted range is determined by several factors, including skills, experience, education, and market conditions. Additionally, we consider internal equity to ensure fairness within our organization.
