Schedule

Full Time, Days 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide emotional support, crisis intervention, and counseling for Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Older Adults, and their significant others to cope with social and emotional problems.
• Offer information, referral, and referrals for financial assistance and supportive services to patients and families dealing with hospitalization, illness, disability, or trauma.
• Provide case management and milieu management.
• Complete psychosocial assessments.
• Assist in the development and re-evaluation of Treatment Plans.
• Work as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
• Coordinate discharge planning.
• Complete necessary documentation and maintain clinical records for each client during their length of stay.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work related field OR Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or related field.
• In states without required licensure, current registration with State Board is required within 3 months of hire.
• In states with required licensure, license required at time of hire and must be maintained.
• Minimum one (1) year hospital or Outpatient experience with emphasis in mental health care.
• Experience in working with a diverse population with a wide range of problems (e.g., death and dying, maternal and child care, substance abuse, disability, chronic illness).

Preferred Qualifications

• Current BCLS certificate upon hire and maintain current preferred.

Pay

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $32.81 to $47.52 per hour. The exact starting compensation will be determined based on factors such as skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
