Responsibilities
- Provide emotional support, crisis intervention, and counseling for Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Older Adults, and their significant others to cope with social and emotional problems related to hospitalization, illness, disability, or trauma.
- Offer information, referral, and referrals for financial assistance and supportive services.
- Provide case management and milieu management, complete psychosocial assessments, and assist in the development and re-evaluation of Treatment Plans.
- Work as a member of a multidisciplinary team and coordinate discharge planning.
- Complete necessary documentation and maintain clinical records for each client during their length of stay.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Professional Clinical Counseling.
- In states with a licensure requirement, licensure must be obtained upon hire and maintained current in accordance with state regulations.
- Minimum one (1) year of Inpatient or Outpatient experience with emphasis in mental health care.
- Experience working with a diverse population with a wide range of problems (e.g., death and dying, maternal and childcare, substance abuse, disability, chronic illness).
Preferred Qualifications
- Current BCLS certificate upon hire.

Pay
A reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $28.00 to $43.62 per hour. The exact starting compensation will be determined based on factors such as skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
