About the role

The Social Work Clinician I under supervision of a licensed clinician provides general casework services to members served and natural supports. This includes person-centered recovery planning and collaborating with other services and agencies.

Responsibilities

  • Provides general casework services to members served and natural supports under supervision of a licensed clinician.
  • Collaborates with other services and agencies.
  • Supports participants with assessment and case management services.
  • Links participants with appropriate SUD and mental health services.
  • Supports participants with their treatment goals and maintains communication with the court team regarding their progress.
  • Leads collaborative court hearings and provides consultation and training related to supporting participants' treatment needs.
  • Works in close collaboration with court partners including judges, attorneys, probation and parole officers, and representatives from the Veterans Administration and the Department of Children and Family Services.
  • Ensures participants have access to treatment to graduate from treatment court and successfully exit the criminal justice and/or DCFS systems.

Expected starting wage range is $27.85 - $34.42. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or psychology from an accredited college or university.
  • Demonstrated experience with behavioral health services.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • CPR, Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), and First Aid certified on date of employment or within 60 days of employment and maintain current certification throughout employment.

The Court Collaborative Program provides mental health and substance use disorder services to adult participants in eight Alameda county treatment courts. This team supports participants with assessment and case management services. We link our participants with appropriate SUD and mental health services; support them with their treatment goals and maintain communication with the court team as related to their progress on these goals. The Court Collaborative Team leads collaborative court hearings and provides consultation and training as related to supporting our participants' treatment needs. We work in close collaboration with our many court partners including judges, attorneys, probation and parole officers, and representatives from the Veterans Administration and the Department of Children and Family Services. Our primary goal is to ensure that our participants have access to treatment in order to graduate from treatment court and successfully exit the criminal justice and/or DCFS systems.
