This role will serve as a key day-to-day partner in planning, creating, publishing, and optimizing social content across several brand handles, ensuring smooth workflow through internal and external approvals. The ideal candidate balances strategic thinking with tactical execution, understands high-performing social content, and can tailor ideas to native platforms while managing editorial planning, publishing, copywriting, and cross-functional coordination.

This role supports a portfolio of distinct brands and their bespoke social handles, requiring strong social instincts, excellent judgment, and comfort collaborating with diverse stakeholders. A deep understanding of gaming audiences and culture is highly valued.

Responsibilities

  • Lead channel strategy and day-to-day execution across multiple consumer-facing entertainment brands and social handles.
  • Co-own editorial planning, publishing calendars, content creation, and execution across platforms including X, Instagram, TikTok, Threads, and Facebook.
  • Shape content ideas and write platform-native social copy, video treatments, and other assets that reflect each brand’s voice, audience, and objectives.
  • Partner across teams to manage approvals, timelines, and workflows for campaigns, content drops, brand moments, and partnership-related initiatives.
  • Support end-to-end social execution, from strategy and planning to publishing, optimization, and reporting.
  • Coordinate with departments and stakeholders to maintain alignment, ensure content accuracy, and deliver projects on time.
  • Establish and maintain processes, approval streams, workflows, SLAs, and responsibilities through documentation and socialization.
  • Apply knowledge of native platform behavior, evolving social trends, and audience-first content best practices.
  • Contribute to content creation, including light hands-on asset editing and creative support.
  • Use channel learnings to refine strategy, inform future planning, and improve execution.
  • Support occasional real-time, off-site, or off-hours needs for key moments, launches, announcements, or special projects (e.g., content capture, in-person interviews, events, or conferences).
  • Create executive-level presentations and reports to showcase work, learnings, and business impact.
  • Stay informed on social media, pop culture, gaming news, and real-world events to ensure trends, sensitivity, and cultural relevance.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of experience in social media management, content strategy, channel strategy, or related digital communications work.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Proven experience managing large, consumer-facing entertainment, media, or lifestyle brands.
  • Experience working across multiple brands, accounts, or social identities simultaneously with strong attention to detail and process.
  • Strong understanding of native social platforms, publishing tools, channel best practices, and current social trends.
  • Experience writing copy, managing publishing workflows, and executing content plans across multiple channels.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Experience navigating approval flows and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Comfort with light hands-on content creation and asset editing.
  • Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-moving environment.
  • Strong understanding of gaming audiences and culture; direct gaming experience is strongly preferred.
  • Portfolio or work samples demonstrating social thinking, platform fluency, and executional range (a plus).
  • Experience with partnership, licensor/licensee, or multi-stakeholder social workflows (a plus).
