About the role

Provide a high level of instruction in a two-hour block-scheduling format for grades 9-12. Proctor and grade NYS Regents exams as assigned by principal.

Responsibilities

• Implement NYS Curriculum for grades 9-12
• Provide a high level of instruction in a two-hour block-scheduling format
• Proctor and grade NYS Regents exams as assigned by principal

Qualifications

• NYS Certification in Social Studies
• Dual certification desirable
• Knowledge of Common Core and NYS Assessments
• Physically able to perform essential functions of the position (with or without reasonable accommodation)

Pay

• 0-5 years: $48.20/hr
• 6-10 years: $55.60/hr
• 10+ years: $59.00/hr

Schedule

• July 9, 2026 - August 19, 2026
• No Fridays except for July 17th
• Hours: 7:15 AM - 12:15 PM (5 hour day)

Employment in the Cooperative Summer School program is enrollment/registration driven. Previous employment does not guarantee future employment. Rate of pay is per hour based on number of years of service in the program. All employees are paid on timesheets. Staff are expected to work all appointed days. Employment is contingent upon student enrollment and availability of programs.
