About the Role

Candidates selected for the Middle School Social Studies Research Teacher position at Central Middle School will design and deliver Social Studies Research instruction that ensures the success of a diverse population of learners. You will build positive relationships and collaborate with students, parents, and staff to foster a positive experience for the entire learning community.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver Social Studies Research instruction.
• Implement multiple instructional designs and differentiated strategies to support diverse learners.
• Maintain strong classroom management and a positive learning environment.
• Build positive working relationships with students, parents, and staff.
• Utilize current technology to support communication, academics, and student progress monitoring.

Requirements

• Valid MN License in Middle School Social Studies.
• Experience with differentiated instructional strategies.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Proficiency with educational technology.

Pay

Compensation range: $52,308–$123,452, depending on education and experience. See the Wayzata Education Association Contract for details.
