(SOCIAL SERVICES) Social Worker III - Foster Care Trainer

About the role

Responsible for training foster care providers in best practices and ensuring the safety and well-being of children in foster care.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver training programs on foster care best practices.
• Evaluate and improve training materials based on participant feedback.
• Mentor foster care providers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Assist in the recruitment and selection of new foster care providers.
• Collaborate with other social service professionals to ensure comprehensive support for foster children.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience working with foster care populations.
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in program development and implementation.
• Knowledge of child welfare laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
