(SOCIAL SERVICES) Social Worker III - Foster Care

About the role

Provide support to foster children in a foster care setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily care and supervision of foster children.
• Participate in regular meetings with foster families and social workers.
• Document interactions and progress reports for each child.
• Ensure safety and well-being of foster children at all times.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field.
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
• Experience working with children in foster care environments.
• Ability to pass a background check and criminal history review.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with children and families.
• Knowledge of child development and foster care best practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Skills

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Pay
