Social Services Director

About the role

The Social Services Director assists in the planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating the overall operation of the Facility's Social Services department. They ensure that the medically related emotional and social needs of the residents are met and maintained on an individual basis in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations, our established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by the Administrator.

Responsibilities

• Aid in the planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating the overall operation of the Facility's Social Services department
• Ensure that the medically related emotional and social needs of the residents are met and maintained on an individual basis
• Work within the bounds of current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations, our established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by the Administrator

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Licensed Social Worker preferred
• 2 years experience in Social Services in Long Term Care
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office Suite Package (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Regulatory and Compliance Knowledge
