Social Services Behavioral Health LMSW PRN

About the role

Iberia Medical Center (IMC) in New Iberia, LA is seeking a Social Services LMSW PRN for the new IMC Behavioral Health unit. The LCSW will act as a Licensed Mental Health Professional and will be an active member of the interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conducting assessments and screenings
• Developing clinical Impressions and recommendations
• Treatment planning and treatment plan reviews
• Participation in team conferences
• Intake and referral processes
• Providing individual, group, family, and couples counseling
• Supervision of other clinical duties
• Monitoring and evaluating the performance of the social services staff (including Activity Therapy)

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited university
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Louisiana
• Current CPR/CPI Certification
• Two years experience in Behavioral Health preferred
