About the Role
AVIR Health Group is seeking a qualified Social Services Director to join our team. The primary purpose of this role is to provide services that respond to the emotional needs of residents and their families, assist with resident admissions, and manage the referral process. The ideal candidate is resident and family-focused, a team builder, and excited about contributing to a positive facility culture.
Responsibilities
- Provide emotional support services to residents and their families.
- Assist with resident admissions and the referral process.
- Contribute to building a positive and supportive facility culture.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in social work.
- Two years of experience working in geriatrics.
- Valid Driver’s license.
- Required licensure.
- Previous experience with Nursing Homes preferred.
