Social Service Director

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree from an accredited program in Social Work or related field.
• Previous experience in a long term care facility as well as with current Requirements of Participation regulations is preferred.
• Knowledgeable of admissions and discharge procedures in conjunction with all current laws, as well as being familiar with residents’ rights and documentation requirements in accordance with current regulations and/or guidelines.
• Attention to detail, good follow-through skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Innovative and able to find creative ways to serve the variety of resident needs and maintain the customer focus.
• Vehicle and valid drivers' license.
• Patience, tact, enthusiasm and a positive attitude toward the residents and their support networks.
• Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
• Ability to communicate with residents, staff and family members in a professional manner.
