About the role

The Center for Dissemination and Implementation (CDI), based in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences, is seeking a Social Science Research Professional 2. CDI is a leading center for implementation science that drives the effort to get the best and latest treatments to all patients (https://med.stanford.edu/cdi.html). CDI consists of three national federally-funded implementation centers: The Center for Dissemination and Implementation At Stanford (C-DIAS), National Institute on Drug Abuse (P50DA05402); The Research Adoption Support Center (RASC), National Institutes of Health Healing Addiction Long Term (HEAL) initiative (U2CDA057717); and the national Center for Mental Health Implementation Support (CMHIS), Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (H79SM090078). CMHIS is a 5-year project to develop accessible implementation science-based resources and provide high-impact technical assistance to mental health providers to disseminate, implement, and sustain effective practices. The SSRP2 will serve as a project coordinator, primarily on CMHIS, assisting with these tasks, including coordinating national workgroups of implementation science and mental health treatment subject matter experts to develop products and resources on how to disseminate, implement, and sustain effective mental health treatments; conducting literature reviews that support resource development; supporting the writing and content compilation of reports and resources; working with national partners to evaluate the project; working with five bi-regional centers to collect outcome data; and engaging in qualitative and quantitative research on CMHIS services.
