Social Science/Humanities Research Associate II

About the role

Full-time Science/Humanities Research Associate II to assist with and conduct lab-based research in the Champagne Lab in SEA. The position supports ongoing studies of the epigenetic impact of early life environments.

Responsibilities

• Wet lab work (tissue extraction, DNA/RNA extraction, histology)
• Lab/personnel management (compliance, training, ordering supplies)
• Project coordination
• Data analyses and manuscript preparation

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in the Biological Sciences or a related field
• At least 2 years of post-bachelor’s wet lab research experience
• Molecular lab experience (RNA/DNA extraction)
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Skilled in use of R or equivalent statistics/analyses software
• Lab management experience
• Knowledge of human and animal brain anatomy

Pay

$45,000 – $50,000
