Social Media Volunteer

MADD Canada is a charitable, grassroots organization committed to stopping impaired driving and supporting victims and survivors of this violent crime.

About the role

We're looking for a creative and enthusiastic volunteer to help grow our online presence as a Social Media Volunteer. No professional experience is required—just a passion for social media, good communication skills, and a desire to support MADD Canada's mission. Training and ongoing support will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging content for our social media platforms.
• Schedule and publish posts across our social media channels.
• Respond to comments and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Help increase our online presence, engagement, and followers.
• Promote chapter events, campaigns, and community initiatives.

Requirements

• Comfortable with social media platforms (Facebook and X/Twitter).
• Commitment of approximately 2-5 hours per week, with flexibility based on chapter activities.
• Remote volunteering with flexible hours (post at least once per day).
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Criminal record check required (cost will be reimbursed).
