Walk The Rainbow is a youth-led, Winnipeg-based organization dedicated to destigmatizing 2SLGBTQ+ identities and educating the community through workshops, speeches, social media awareness, fundraising, and more.

About the role

We are looking for volunteers to create and manage social media content for platforms such as X (Twitter), Facebook, and Instagram. Responsibilities include promoting the organization’s social media pages, maintaining their upkeep, and collaborating with the social media team to produce engaging content.

• Ages 13–15, 16–17, 18–30, 31–54, 55+
• Remote volunteering available
• Opportunity locations: Winnipeg (Assiniboine South, Downtown, Elmwood, Fort Garry, Inkster, Point Douglas, River East, River Heights, Seven Oaks, St. Boniface, St. James-Assiniboia, St. Vital, Transcona)
• No criminal record check or child abuse registry check required
• Open to candidates fulfilling volunteer hours for school credit
• French-speaking/bilingual (French and English) candidates welcome
