Social Media & Product GTM Strategy Intern - Fall 2026 / Spring 2027

About the role
We’re seeking a creative and strategic Social Media & Product Go-to-Market Strategy Intern to help shape how Eduwave AI is positioned, communicated, and grown. In this role, you’ll work closely with the founder and product team to develop compelling brand stories, build our presence across digital channels, and create go-to-market strategies that drive awareness, engagement, and adoption. You’ll contribute across social media, content, website messaging, email, community growth, and online and offline marketing campaigns while continuously introducing new ideas for how Eduwave can reach and connect with its audience.
Responsibilities
- Strong storytelling skills with the ability to turn product ideas, user needs, and brand messages into engaging narratives across social media, website, LinkedIn, email, and other channels
- Experience or strong understanding of social media strategy, content planning, campaign development, and audience growth
- Understanding of product marketing, brand positioning, customer messaging, and go-to-market strategy
- Ability to develop marketing campaigns around product launches, features, customer segments, partnerships, and key growth initiatives
- Experience building content strategies across multiple formats, including social posts, short-form video, campaigns, website content, blogs, email, and community communications
- Strong understanding of SEO and AEO, including how content and website messaging can improve discoverability across search and AI-driven platforms
- Experience or understanding of email marketing, lifecycle campaigns, newsletters, and audience engagement
- Interest in building and growing online communities through partnerships, events, social channels, and direct audience engagement
- Ability to develop both online and offline marketing campaigns, including events, community activations, partnerships, and local outreach
- Strong copywriting and communication skills with an eye for messaging, hooks, campaign concepts, and brand consistency
- Comfortable analyzing campaign performance, audience behavior, and engagement to improve future marketing decisions
- Self-driven, highly creative, comfortable experimenting with new ideas, and excited to help build a brand from an early stage
Bonus: Prior experience in EdTech, consumer products, startups, growth marketing, Canva, Figma, CapCut, or marketing analytics tools
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Advertising, Public Relations, Media, Brand Strategy, or a related field
- Students or early-career candidates with experience in social media, content marketing, product marketing, growth marketing, brand strategy, or go-to-market projects
- Candidates who have built or managed a social media page, student organization, community, newsletter, personal brand, startup, or other audience-facing initiative
- Experience through internships, freelance work, student organizations, personal projects, startup work, or coursework involving marketing campaigns, content strategy, branding, or customer acquisition
- Strong interest in understanding products, customers, market positioning, and how brands grow across different channels
- Comfortable working across social media, website content, email marketing, community initiatives, events, and other online or offline marketing efforts
- Demonstrated storytelling ability through writing, campaigns, social content, video, presentations, or other creative work
- Familiarity with SEO and AEO through coursework, projects, internships, or hands-on experience
- Comfortable working in an early-stage startup environment where you may be expected to generate ideas, test them, execute them, and learn from the results
- Interest in AI, education, consumer technology, EdTech, or building products for students and families is a plus

This is an unpaid, educational internship designed to provide hands-on experience in product marketing, brand strategy, customer research, go-to-market strategy, growth experimentation, and early-stage startup building. We do provide college credits.
