This is a hands-on, fast-paced role ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about B2B content, community building, and digital storytelling. You'll work closely with the Social Media Manager to help execute a channel strategy that amplifies BlackLine's brand, thought leadership, and product messaging across LinkedIn, Twitter/X, YouTube, and beyond.

What You'll Get To Do

Social Media Management

  • Manage and schedule content across BlackLine's social channels using Hootsuite, ensuring a consistent and timely publishing cadence
  • Monitor social channels daily, engaging with comments, mentions, and community conversations to build brand presence
  • Track and report on channel performance using Hootsuite Analytics and platform-native insights, presenting findings to the wider team
  • Support the development and execution of organic social campaigns aligned to product launches, events, and always-on activity
  • Stay current with platform changes, trending content formats, and B2B social best practices to keep BlackLine's channels fresh and competitive

Podcast Support

  • Provide end-to-end production support for BlackLine's podcast, including coordinating recording schedules, managing guest logistics, and liaising with the audio production team
  • Source and vet external speakers and guests, identifying relevant voices in finance, technology, and accounting, and managing outreach and onboarding
  • Create and repurpose podcast content into short-form social clips, quote cards, and promotional assets for distribution across channels
  • Maintain an organized content calendar and episode pipeline to ensure timely delivery

YouTube Channel Management

  • Manage the BlackLine YouTube channel, including uploading, optimizing metadata (titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails), and maintaining playlist structure
  • Coordinate video production workflows, working with internal stakeholders, freelancers, and agency partners to ensure content is delivered on brief and on time
  • Monitor YouTube analytics and make data-driven recommendations to improve watch time, subscriber growth, and engagement
  • Support speaker and presenter sourcing for webinars, panel content, and video series, managing briefing documents and pre-production communication

Administrative & Cross-Functional Support

  • Provide administrative support to the Social Media team, including managing shared inboxes, maintaining content libraries, and updating trackers and reporting templates
  • Liaise with internal teams (Demand Gen, Events, Product Marketing, PR) to gather content briefs and align social activity with the broader marketing calendar
  • Assist in the coordination of influencer or partner amplification activity where relevant

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience managing social media channels in a professional or agency environment
  • Proficiency in Hootsuite: scheduling, publishing, and analytics (certification is a plus)
  • Experience supporting podcast production, including guest coordination and logistics
  • Hands-on experience managing a YouTube channel (uploads, SEO optimization, analytics)
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to adapt tone and voice across channels
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail, comfortable juggling multiple workstreams
  • Proactive self-starter who can work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a B2B, SaaS, or technology company
  • Familiarity with design tools such as Canva
  • Exposure to video editing tools (Opus, Capcut)
  • Understanding of SEO principles as applied to YouTube and social content
  • Experience working with or sourcing thought leadership speakers for content series
