The Role
The Live entertainment client is seeking a Social Media Manager / Content Creator to work with their team. This is a 30-40 hour/week opportunity requiring a hybrid work schedule. The majority of work will be remote with the exception of the requirement to travel to approximately 6 concerts/shows within a 4-month period. This opportunity extends to the end of September with the possibility of a short extension.
What You'll Do
- Capture live event content
- Film high-quality short-form videos (Reels, Stories, TikToks) at concerts and events, including food, fans, environments, and branded moments in an authentic, social native style.
- Edit and publish quickly
- Turn around edits same-day or in real time to meet platform and campaign needs.
- Host and engage on camera
- Serve as an on-camera presence for the brand, offering natural, unscripted commentary, interviewing fans, and reacting to live moments.
- Adapt content to audience
- Shift tone and style based on genre (hip-hop, country, pop, etc.) and platform expectations.
- Translate briefs into ideas
- Turn marketing direction into engaging, platform-native concepts and content plans.
- Capture realtime moments
- Identify and act on crowd energy, artist moments, and trending opportunities as they happen.
- Collaborate with marketing
- Partner with the marketing team on content concepts, campaign execution, and overall creative direction.
- Stay trend savvy
- Track TikTok and Instagram trends, sounds, and formats, applying them in ways that feel relevant.
- Contribute to content strategy
- Bring fresh ideas to evolve the brand’s social presence and creative approach.
- Represent the brand professionally
- Engage with fans and partners in a way that enhances Rebel Hens’ reputation and event day experience.
Must Have
- Proven ability to produce short-form video for TikTok and Instagram, with strong shooting skills (iPhone or similar) and editing proficiency (CapCut, InShot, etc.).
- Experience with social platforms, influencer marketing, and tools such as Sprout, Later, or similar software.
- Background in concerts, food, lifestyle, or on-site content capture; comfortable working in fast-paced, high-energy environments.
- Confident, engaging, and natural on camera with a strong, conversational delivery.
- Ability to adapt tone and voice across platforms, artists, and genres while producing high-quality content quickly.
- Self-starter who can work autonomously onsite and make real-time creative decisions.
- Understanding of legal considerations around filming trademarks, IP, and branded environments.
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and travel frequently.
