Social Media Manager
What Your First 90 Days Will Look Like
First 30 Days — Learn the Brand + Find the Rhythm
You’ll Immerse Yourself In The AmmoSquared Ecosystem
- Learn our brand voice, audience, and culture
- Understand the preparedness and 2A community
- Get familiar with our content pipeline, campaigns, and product ecosystem
- Begin publishing and managing daily social content
- Work closely with our Content Producers and Marketing team
- Start identifying what content resonates most with our audience
You won’t be thrown into chaos alone. We want you learning, experimenting, and contributing quickly.
Days 30–60 — Start Owning the Channels
By this point, you’ll begin taking ownership of our social presence:
- Publishing daily content across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, X, and emerging platforms
- Turning long-form videos, podcasts, and blog content into platform-native clips and posts
- Engaging directly with our audience through comments, DMs, and community conversations
- Supporting launches, promotions, events, and partnerships through social storytelling
- Helping identify trends, creator opportunities, and content angles worth testing
This is where your creative instincts start to matter.
Days 60–90 — Build Momentum
By the end of your first 90 days, you’ll be actively helping shape how AmmoSquared shows up online. You’ll:
- Have a strong understanding of what content performs
- Contribute ideas proactively instead of waiting for assignments
- Help amplify events, partnerships, and campaigns in real time
- Collaborate with creators and influencers in the preparedness space
- Help social become a growth engine — not just a posting schedule
We’re not looking for someone to “maintain accounts.” We’re looking for someone who wants to help build a category-defining brand.
What Day-to-Day Life Looks Like
No two days are exactly the same here, but your week will likely include:
- Editing short-form videos and social clips
- Writing captions and scheduling content
- Brainstorming content ideas with the creative team
- Capturing behind-the-scenes moments at events or in-office
- Jumping on trends that actually fit the brand
- Collaborating with marketing, content, and customer success
- Monitoring performance and adjusting strategy quickly
- Engaging with our audience and community online
- Helping turn “good content” into content people actually share
Some days are strategic. Some days are fast-moving. Some days are pure execution. You need to enjoy all three.
