Position Summary
The Social Media Manager is responsible for creating and executing a comprehensive social media strategy that enhances Cerity Partners' brand, drives engagement, and generates revenue.
Primary Responsibilities
- Fully own and oversee all brand social media channels, including B2C and B2B audience publishing.
- Develop and deploy a social media presence for CP influencers, including content creation, ghostwriting, and coaching senior executives.
- Serve as a social media evangelist and expert, offering training sessions to colleagues.
- Contribute to social media toolkits for CP advisors, including templates, guidelines, and compliance-aligned content.
- Develop and own the CP social media strategy, focusing on platform prioritization, content formats, audience segmentation, and publishing cadence.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop social media campaigns that resonate with target personas.
- Support launches, announcements, mergers, events, and other key moments with social and digital components.
- Lead social and digital activation for these moments, including content development and community management.
- Manage social listening tools and vendors, identify social media trends, and recommend new strategies.
- Leverage AI tools across the content lifecycle, ensuring compliance with firm guidelines.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of dedicated social media experience with end-to-end channel ownership.
- Proven ability to set strategy and create content, managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills, using performance data, A/B testing, and audience research to optimize content.
- Experience connecting social media performance to business outcomes, such as pipeline contribution or brand engagement metrics.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, including presenting to senior leaders and working directly with them.
- Familiarity with AI tools for content creation, research, analysis, and workflow automation.
