What You’ll Do
- Lead social media strategy, content development, and execution across multiple client accounts.
- Serve as a strategic partner to clients, providing recommendations, insights, and education on social media best practices and emerging trends.
- Develop social marketing strategies, content calendars, KPIs, and measurement frameworks that support client goals.
- Collaborate with creative, media, and client services teams to bring innovative, audience-first campaigns to life.
- Create and oversee engaging social content, including photo, video, and short-form content tailored to platform-specific best practices.
- Capture content on-site as needed, including rehearsals, performances, events, and other key campaign moments.
- Monitor campaign performance, identify opportunities for optimization, and communicate results and recommendations to clients.
- Contribute to the growth of the social media team through collaboration, mentorship, and process improvements.
- Support new business initiatives, including pitches, audits, and strategic recommendations.
Who We’re Looking For
- 3 - 6 years of professional experience in social media, content marketing, or communications, preferably within the entertainment, arts, cultural, or live events sectors. Agency experience preferred.
- Proven ability to independently lead social strategy and execution across multiple accounts with minimal oversight.
- Deep understanding of social media platforms, their advertising tools, rules of engagement, and emerging trends, with a demonstrated ability to translate this knowledge into innovative campaigns.
- Strong conceptual and creative instincts, with a track record of developing culturally relevant, audience-first ideas that perform.
- Hands-on experience with mobile-first content creation, including iPhone filming, short-form video editing, and design tools such as Canva or platform-native editing suites.
- Fluency in social trends, formats, and storytelling techniques, including a strong grasp of visual and verbal hooks that drive engagement.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present strategies and creative ideas clearly and persuasively to clients and senior stakeholders.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and collaborate with junior team members, contributing positively to team growth and culture.
- Passion for entertainment, the arts, and storytelling through digital media.
What We Offer
- The salary range for this position in New York, NY is $66,300 to $85,000 per year.
