About the role

HAUS is seeking an experienced B2B Social Media Strategist to join our team. This role is central to building compelling digital narratives for our clients across their most visible public touchpoints: social channels. You’ll help shape how deep tech companies communicate online, translating complex technologies, media moments, executive insights, and industry trends into thoughtful, engaging content that builds credibility and sparks conversation.

Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Advisory
    • Develop social media strategies for deep tech clients across LinkedIn, X/Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Reddit, Substack, and emerging channels.
    • Advise clients and executives on platform best practices, content strategy, reputation management, and thought leadership.
    • Create content calendars, evergreen content libraries, and social campaigns.
    • Identify content opportunities, industry conversations, and story angles that strengthen client narratives.
    • Recommend channel strategy, including when to leverage company pages, executive accounts, posts, reposts, and engagement.
  • Content Development
    • Write social content for company pages and founder/executive accounts.
    • Develop original thought leadership content, including LinkedIn posts, short-form video clips, and blog content.
    • Adapt existing materials into engaging platform-specific content.
    • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, accessible narratives.
    • Maintain consistent brand voice and messaging across channels.
  • Creative & Multimedia
    • Provide creative direction for social assets including graphics, carousels, PDFs, and short-form video.
    • Collaborate with designers to develop effective social visuals and review assets for platform performance.
    • Create simple graphics in Canva using templates when needed.
    • Support video workflows by editing short-form clips, developing hooks, and packaging content for social platforms.
  • Social Listening & Community
    • Monitor brand mentions, industry conversations, competitors, partners, and relevant online communities.
    • Identify opportunities for engagement, thought leadership, media outreach, and content development.
    • Track conversations across LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Reddit, Discord, etc. Provide social listening summaries and insights to internal teams and clients.
    • Monitor engagement and surface audience questions or opportunities.
  • Analytics & Insights
    • Own monthly and quarterly social reporting for client accounts.
    • Analyze content performance, audience trends, follower growth, and engagement.
    • Provide recommendations to improve content strategy and channel performance.
    • Support competitive analysis and share of voice reviews.

Qualifications

  • 4-5 years of experience in social media, digital communications, or PR — ideally within an agency or fast-paced brand environment.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with a strong sense of tone, timing, and nuance.
  • Proven ability to translate complex or technical topics into engaging social content.
  • Deep familiarity with social listening tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Meltwater, Sprout, Brandwatch, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of digital ecosystems — from LinkedIn and Twitter/X to Reddit and Substack.
  • Basic design literacy and comfort using tools like Canva to produce quick-turn visuals.
  • Excellent news judgment, cultural awareness, and ability to identify emerging digital trends.
  • Experience advising executives or clients on social media best practices and reputation management is a plus.
  • Self-starter attitude with the ability to operate autonomously, juggle multiple priorities, and act with discretion and judgment.
  • Must love deep tech.

Preferences

  • X/Twitter-native experience, including understanding of platform culture, how to create high potential virality moments, and community driven engagement strategies.
  • Familiarity with Web3, crypto, developer communities, or other highly engaged online ecosystems.
  • Experience with social-first video content, including editing short-form clips, identifying strong hooks, and packaging content for different platforms.
  • Experience supporting B2B creator/influencer programs.
  • Experience building communities on Reddit or niche forums.
