Role OverviewWe are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Coordinator to join our team in a part-time, hybrid capacity. This role works closely with our Brand & Marketing team to bring our organizations' stories to life across digital channels, supporting multiple brands within our portfolio. The ideal candidate is a hands-on content creator who is equally comfortable editing a short-form video as they are scheduling a week's worth of posts or pulling together an engagement report. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, moves quickly across multiple brand voices, and wants to help build a growing digital presence across the healthcare and nonprofit space. Key Responsibilities Content Creation & Editing• Create and edit digital content, including graphics, photos, and short-form video, tailored to each brand's voice and audience• Repurpose podcasts, webinars, speaking engagements, and other long-form content into social-ready clips, graphics, and posts• Design graphics and short-form videos using tools such as Canva, Adobe Express, or CapCut Social Media Management• Manage day-to-day social media channels across supported brands, ensuring consistent posting and brand voice• Schedule and publish content across platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram) using social media management tools• Monitor channels for engagement opportunities, comments, and messages, escalating as needed Multi-Brand Support• Support content and social media needs across multiple brands, including Navigation on Demand, NavPoint Health, and the NPH Foundation• Maintain a clear understanding of each brand's distinct voice, audience, and messaging guidelines• Coordinate with Brand & Marketing leadership to align content calendars and priorities across brands Analytics & Reporting• Track engagement and basic analytics across social channels• Prepare regular reporting summarizing performance, trends, and content recommendations• Use insights from reporting to inform future content and posting strategy Other Duties As Assigned Qualifications• 1-3 years of experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing; early career & internship experience considered• Demonstrated experience creating and editing short-form video and graphic content• Proficiency with design and editing tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or CapCut• Familiarity with social media scheduling and management platforms• Basic understanding of social media analytics and reporting• Strong written communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone and voice across multiple brands• Highly organized, with the ability to manage content calendars and deadlines across several channels and brands simultaneously• Creative eye for visual storytelling and current social media trends• Comfortable using AI tools (e.g. Claude) to support content creation and improve efficiency• Comfort working independently in a part-time, in-office role with occasional shifting priorities• Interest in healthcare, life sciences, or nonprofit community impact a plus• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered• Must be available to work M-F, with 3 days in office in Dana Point, CA.
