Summary Of Position

A social marketing specialist is highly organized with a relentless mission to grow meaningful social media engagement for our brands in the pet industry. This person conducts collaborator discovery and manages influencer relationships with ease, drafts accurate deal terms with minimal oversight, and curates content calendars for PetSafe, SportDOG, Premier Pet, and Kurgo brands.

Responsibilities

  • Create, curate, and manage content including digital assets, social media posts, video, and more for the PetSafe, SportDOG, Premier Pet, and Kurgo brands.
  • Grow and engage online community by interacting with followers in the comments.
  • Contribute to the execution of the Content Calendar that builds on key themes of our go-to-market strategy for new products, marketing campaigns, and moments to connect with key audiences and build our brands.
  • Support and drive digital marketing efforts to meet goals for increased awareness, traffic growth, lead generation and sales.
  • Discover, manage and grow influencer relationships for the PetSafe, SportDOG, Premier Pet, and Kurgo brands.
  • Create, test, iterate, and distribute engaging digital content across a range of channels, including but not limited to email, landing pages, assets for partner websites, and native advertising content.
  • Integrate trends, category data, and campaign reports to identify insights that can improve our content strategy and execution.
  • Structure and report on content analytics and metrics by marketing funnel stage that map back to business goals.
  • Manage partnership(s) with internal and external agencies, freelancers, and more that support the execution of the content strategy.
  • Collaborate with Customer Care who handle the moderation for all Social Media touchpoints, developing best practices.
  • Partner with the Customer Insights team to further develop the approach to Social Listening and how the insights can be used broadly across the business.

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in Digital Marketing, Content Marketing, and/or Editorial Content
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or business related
  • Experience in Ecommerce and working in a cross-functional organization with a global mindset
  • Understanding of Ecommerce platforms and third-party digital marketing applications
  • Experience with analytics and KPls related to content marketing, not limited to social media
  • Firsthand experience in Content Marketing, which includes Social Media, User Generated Content, Influencer Marketing
  • A natural curiosity and know how to ask the right questions to understand new topics
  • Express yourself and your ideas in a simple, straightforward way
  • Enjoy working in a collaborative environment, are comfortable with change, feedback and uncertainty
