About the Role

We’re looking for a Social Media Coordinator to help power RYZE’s presence across platforms. You’ll own day-to-day execution on secondary channels, support content planning and community management, and be a key operational force keeping the social engine running smoothly. This role is highly collaborative, detail-oriented, and operationally focused — helping turn creative ideas into organized, on-time, and high-quality social content and campaigns. This role requires travel for events.

Responsibilities

  • Platform Ownership
    • Own the content calendar for secondary platforms: Broadcast channel, Instagram Stories, Threads, X, Pinterest, and YouTube.
    • Ensure consistency, timeliness, and on-brand execution across all owned channels.
  • Content Planning
    • Support monthly content planning and quarterly brainstorming sessions.
    • Assist with evergreen concept development and content ideation.
    • Prep copy and assign social graphics & stories to the designer.
    • Pull content inspiration and organize via Trello.
  • Caption Writing & Publishing
    • Draft captions across all platforms: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, Threads, and Pinterest.
    • Schedule and publish content on Pinterest, YouTube, Threads, and X.
    • Provide manual posting support on Meta, LinkedIn, and TikTok as needed.
  • Brand Collaborations & Giveaways
    • Handle brand outreach for giveaway partnerships.
    • Manage winner selection and prize coordination end-to-end.
  • Community Management
    • Own proactive and reactive community management across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Threads — Instagram and Facebook are primary.
    • Monitor main brand accounts, sub-accounts, and campaign-specific channels.
    • Engage with tagged content and community posts.
    • Identify resharing opportunities and surface standout UGC to the social team.
  • Social Listening & Trend Monitoring
    • Keep a regular pulse on competitors and brands in the space.
    • Flag emerging trends, sentiment shifts, and potential brand risks to leadership.
  • Reporting
    • Pull monthly social metrics across all platforms to support monthly reports.
    • Assist with weekly social digests: top-performing content, trend research, and competitive insights.
    • Monitor and report on top-performing competitor content, noteworthy brand campaigns, and weekly trending audios.
  • Events
    • May require occasional travel to attend RYZE events, company meetings, industry events, or other business-related activities.
    • Develop concepts and shot lists for Tier 2 events.
    • Provide on-site support at select Tier 1 events, including iPhone filming.
    • Pull TikToks for Tier 1 events and add to run-of-show.
  • Additional Ownership Areas
    • Link-in-bio management — keep Linktree (or equivalent) updated to reflect current campaigns and launches.
    • Platform audits — periodically audit bios, pinned posts, highlight covers, and profile optimization across channels.
    • Pinterest — manage board organization, pin scheduling, and seasonal content planning.
    • Assist with quarterly comment sentiment analysis, identifying recurring audience feedback and customer insights.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or a related field (brand or agency experience preferred).
  • Strong working knowledge of major social platforms: Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn, X, Threads, and Facebook.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workflows simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Strong written communication skills — captions, briefs, outreach, and internal documentation.
  • Hands-on experience with social media management and scheduling tools (Sprout, Later, Hootsuite, or similar).
  • Comfortable analyzing performance data and surfacing actionable insights.
  • Experience supporting social-led production, shoots, or live activations a plus.

Nice to Have

  • Experience coordinating creators, influencers, or brand partnerships including outreach, deliverables, and usage rights.
  • Familiarity with KPI tracking and performance reporting for organic social.
  • Experience managing creator contracts, payment coordination, and usage rights.
  • Strong pulse on creator culture and emerging social formats.
  • Experience working in a high-growth or performance-driven environment.
