Social Media Coordinator
About the role
The Social Media Coordinator is a key member of the Digital Participation Hub (DP Hub) team at Future Is, a non-profit organization dedicated to rebuilding American democracy. This role involves managing social media content across multiple platforms, ensuring timely and effective communication, and collaborating with various teams to maintain a cohesive online presence.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and post content across all social platforms.
- Pull together monthly analytics for all socials and the website.
- Keep the content pipeline moving by checking readiness, identifying gaps, and coordinating with team members for changes or fixes.
- Help coordinate the team and ensure smooth collaboration.
Requirements
This role requires a strong understanding of social media algorithms, the ability to create engaging content, and excellent organizational skills. Prior experience in social media management is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with basic graphic design and video editing tools.
