About the role
Penske Automotive Group is seeking a Social Media Coordinator to enhance our digital presence through engaging content and storytelling.
Responsibilities
- Create and manage content across multiple social media platforms
- Help strengthen brand awareness, customer engagement, and dealership visibility
- Attend dealership events and community activities to capture social media content (occasional evenings and weekends may be required)
- Monitor social media trends and identify opportunities to increase engagement and brand awareness
- Track and report on social media performance metrics, content effectiveness, and audience growth
- Engage with online communities and help maintain a positive brand reputation across social channels
- Ensure all content aligns with company branding, compliance requirements, and social media best practices
Requirements
- Passion for social media, content creation, and digital storytelling
- Experience creating content for social platforms
- Proficiency with video editing, photo editing, and content creation tools
- Understanding of social media trends, analytics, and audience engagement strategies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of copyrighting and adhering to PAG social/video policies
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Creative mindset with strong attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in automotive, retail, or consumer-facing brands
