Social Media Coordinator
About the role
Are you someone who can manage a content calendar and contribute a great idea in the same meeting? Do you care about the details and the creative work behind them? If you are looking for a role where you're making things, not just scheduling them, this Social Media Coordinator opportunity at ASU EdPlus is for you.
ASU EdPlus is a dynamic unit of Arizona State University focused on the design and scalable delivery of digital teaching and learning models to increase student success and reduce barriers to achievement in higher education. We advance the economic, social, cultural, and overall health of the local, national, and international communities served by ASU.
We are seeking a Social Media Coordinator with a knack for both structure and style to join our ASU Online marketing team. You know what looks good on a feed and you know how to build the system that gets it there on time, every time. Every day you’ll make a difference in the lives of others by owning day-to-day execution for ASU Online's social channels: managing workflows, coordinating assets and approvals, and making sure everything that goes live is sharp, on-brand, and exactly where it needs to be. You'll work closely with designers and provide input on what's ready for the platform, drawing on your unique perspective to determine what works. Your work directly supports ASU Online's mission to expand access to high-quality education, one well-executed post at a time.

- Maintain and update social media content calendars to ensure accurate, timely, and consistent publishing.
- Contribute to and produce content going out the door — as someone who knows what works on social and isn't afraid to flag what doesn't.
- Track published content and support performance reporting, documentation, and recaps.
- Maintain organized records of assets, approvals, schedules and workflows.
- Communicate proactively with stakeholders to flag risks, delays or execution issues.
- Assume or coordinate other duties or projects as assigned or directed.
This is an in-person hybrid position. You must be able to reliably commute to Scottsdale, Arizona.
